HISTORIC PLACES Camden has a unique place in Australia's History. The district lies at the intersection of three Aboriginal tribal territories, shared by the Gundungurra people to the west, the Tharawal people to the east and the Dharug people who lived north of the Nepean.If you are looking for us on a modern map we are about fifty kilometers south west of Sydney.
