| CAMDEN HISTORY Welcome Camden Historical Society's aim for this Web Site is to promote the history of Camden, New South Wales. 2007 marked the 50th anniversary for the Society and a face lift for CAMDEN HISTORY, namely in the Camden Library Complex, and also for the Web Site. Features of the former Camden History Links Web Site have been included and more articles and information associated with Camden's History will continue to be added in the future. In the Camden Library complex Camden Council has created an exciting cultural and heritage precinct which highlights Camden Museum and hosts Camden Historical Society in the Museum, and Camden Area Family History Society in the old Fire Station next to the Library's Local Studies Collection. With all these facilities under one roof, Camden Library complex is the ideal place to visit for people interested in CAMDEN'S HISTORY. |
